On Wednesday, February 9, 2022, the United States Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, & Forestry invited witnesses to a hearing on Examining Digital Assets: Risks, Regulation, and Innovation organized in two panels. During the first panel, the Honorable Rostin Behnam, Chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) testified. During the second panel, Wharton BDAP’s Kevin Werbach was joined by Sandra Ro, the CEO of the Global Blockchain Business Council, Samuel Bankman-Fried, the Founder and CEO of FTX and Perianne Boring, the Founder and CEO of the Chamber of Digital Commerce.
